I didn't know him well, but some of you might from coming down for Nerdapalooza and visiting A Comic Shop or listening to Nerdy Show podcast; he was loved by many, many people.
From Cap:"Hey everyone. Mike was hit by a car last night. The information we were given was sparse, even seeing him, we had no idea. But the fact is this: Mike is in a coma on life support. He's been unconscious since he was hit. He sped through an intersection when he shouldn't have and it wasn't a hit and run. His head trauma is so serious that the neurosurgeons won't operate. His brainstem has been damaged and his body is shutting down. He's alive as long as we need to say goodbye. No word about a funeral yet. His biological family is here. His family of friends is here, and we're all in this together. I'll post more as it comes. I think I speak for all of us when I say that this is unreal... Well... It is. We've been a family to him, with him, and now we have each other. We'll take each day on as it comes."
Keep Mike, his family and everyone who can feel the shock from this in your thoughts.

I'm sorry if any info I've given might be wrong or anything, I'm just going from FB updates and the thread I read on the site. I'm also sorry if you feel this thread is premature, just figured I'd let the whole community know so they can all keep Mike in their thoughts.
